What can you do about it? Detox
My favorite way to detox is fasting. There are several ways to get the junk out through fasting.
- The first method is intermittent fasting, by simply adjusting when you eat during the day. Start with identifying an 8 hour block of time to eat such as 10 am to 6 pm. Then you stop eating during the remaining 16 hours. During the 16 hour period you continue to to drink water, water & lemon and herbal cleansing teas.
- The second method is fasting on water, lemon water and herbal cleansing teas one day a week for a month.
- The third method is block fasting. A three day water fast will clean out those pesky toxins fast.
- Begin a block fast by eating salads, raw fruit and vegetables, even fruit and veggie smoothies for two days before allowing your digestive system to adjust.
- During the fast drink only water or lemon water for three days. You can also add some detox herbal tea if desired.
- When you finish the fast don’t just jump into eating. Take another two days to drink fruit and veggies, smoothies, and watermelon.
Apple Smoothie
1 red apple
1 granny’s apple
1 cup arugula/ rocket salad
1 lemon (rind and juice)
1 banana
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
2 dates - The third day expand the diet to salad and lighter solid foods.
- Fourth day eat what you would like.
You will feel remarkably better for the wear. Clean out that garbage and feel a shift in your energy fields.
